Jonathan Jackson promised to fight for economic opportunity, safer neighborhoods, and better schools. But he’s done nothing to bring home results. No major funding bills. No job creation initiatives. No crime reduction strategies. No education reform efforts. No pressure on the mayor. No presence in the neighborhoods.
Just press releases and empty rhetoric.
Too Busy Pandering to the Activist Class
Instead of governing for the whole district, Jackson is governing for Twitter. He’s playing to a narrow progressive base that values ideology over impact.
He’s not sitting down with community leaders in Roseland. He’s not talking with business owners in Auburn Gresham. He’s not hosting town halls in West Pullman or doing ride-alongs with police in Englewood.
He’s sitting on panels in D.C., repeating buzzwords and building a brand—while the people back home get nothing but silence.
Worse Yet: He’s Voting to Empower China
When he does show up to vote, Jackson sides with foreign interests over American ones.
He voted against stopping China from buying U.S. farmland, even as we lose more control over our food supply.
He voted against banning Chinese EV companies from soaking up American subsidies, even as Illinois workers are priced out of the auto industry.
He voted against protecting U.S. tech and innovation from Chinese influence, weakening our national security.
While Illinois families are worrying about inflation, crime, and job loss, Jonathan Jackson is voting to protect the Chinese Communist Party’s foothold in America.
It’s not just shameful—it’s dangerous.
Illinois Needs a Workhorse, Not a Woke Show Pony
The people of IL-1 are tired. Tired of crime. Tired of broken promises. Tired of representatives who use the South Side as a political ladder—but forget the people once they reach the top.
We need a congressman who believes in law and order, school accountability, economic revival, and American independence. Someone who doesn’t just show up when the cameras are rolling.
Jonathan Jackson hasn’t passed a bill that makes your neighborhood safer. He hasn’t brought home funding that makes your life easier. He hasn’t fought for your kids, your church, your job, or your street.
And he certainly hasn’t stood up to China.

We don’t need a congressman who votes with the Squad and sides with China. We need someone who puts America first and Illinois families first.
Jonathan Jackson had his chance. And he blew it.
